*Charles de Souza is a Goan, whose father was from Saligao and mother from Moira in Goa. Charles is a trustee of Parisar Asha, an education philanthropy in Mumbai. He was formerly with Citicorp Overseas Software and Science Today.

An author or co-author of several books on computing, he got his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and a B.S. from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. Annavajhula J.C. Bose, contributor, teaches economics at the Lady Sri Ram College, University of Delhi. Bose got his Ph.D. from the Institute of Social Studies, Netherlands. He has an M.Phil from the Centre for Development Studies, Tiruvanthapuram, and an MA in economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He can be reached at: ajc.bose@srcc.du.ac.in

Visakh Menon, design, teaches art at the City University of New York. He got his M.F.A. from the Maryland Institute College of Art, Baltimore. His art work, of control modules seen in electronic systems, is part of several collections including at New York University’s Langone Medical Center, the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston & Texas A&M University. www.vmenon.com

Ignatius Chithelen, publisher, is manager of Banyan Tree Capital, New York. Earlier he was an analyst and fund manager at First Eagle (SoGen) funds. A former reporter at Forbes, he has written for Knowledge@Wharton, The New York Times, Barrons, The Indian Express, IndiaO & other publications.

Articles should be a concise, unique and fact-based analysis of a single issue 

Maximum 800 words       

Helpful for the editing process, and for the writer, to send in advance a ten-line summary: title, main point; and six to eight sub-points supporting the main point. This will help focus and structure the story.   

Based on articles published, authors will very likely make at least three or more revisions to the original draft.
